I’m a Writer, Teacher, Death Doula, Soul Communicator, and now Blogger.

My mantra: “There is no poverty of love.” This is the truth that I need to remember and the message I want to teach to a world dying (killing themselves) because they believe their source of love is gone or is no longer available to them. People are “looking for love in all the wrong places”.

Intentions: To gain clarity and inspiration for myself and hopefully, along the way, inspire the readers as well.

My Mission/Purpose:

Remember and Awaken.

Teach Love.

Help people stop looking for love in the wrong places.

Encourage a new understanding/relationship with Death, so that one might establish a new understanding/relationship with Life.

What can you expect in each Soul Song Message blog post?

Through Soul Song messages, I am stepping forward to share the messages and thoughts I receive in connection to the songs I love. These songs touch my soul in ways that bring joy, laughter, and sometimes tears.  I am convinced that music and lyrics carry messages that are designed to awaken the sleeping soul calling us to remember who we are and why we exist. Sometimes the message is in a single line, verse, or stanza; other times it is expressed throughout song.  Often the messages are disguised and presented to the world as songs about personal (intimate) relationships wrapped around sacred words received by the writer/artist. So, join me as I share what I experience in the words of some inspiriting, invigorating, and illuminating songs that have touched my life. 

What you will find here is a friendly conversation with, and a questioning of, my Creator, Source, Higher Self/Holy Spirit/ Inner Knowing (call it what you wish, just call it). After I present my thoughts on the selected Soul Song(s) of the day, Spirit shares a message to help me present the spiritual message that is embedded in the chosen song. So, in a sense you get to listen in on private conversations between Spirit and myself.

Logo and Imagery:

The simple logo of the vibrating heart comes from my desire for these songs and the associated message to lift the vibration of each reader’s heart to higher frequencies and therefore a greater, closer connection to Source.

I will also be using bird images as part of the theme that will run through any pictures/images used along with the heart vibration logo.

It has always been my belief that a bird’s song (like the songs and lyrics I will address) – while it may be beautiful to our human ears, speaks directly to the soul. It is a coded song asking us to remember – who we are, our connection to Spirit, our connection to the ancestral realm, and our purpose.  Birds are not only seen as inspirational/spiritual messengers from Source, but also as watchers, observers, and guides in the world of the soul. When I sense that a bird has made a special appearance just for me and is chattering away or singing, I always say “Hello” and ask what message it has for me.

Format:

Each post will begin with identifying the Soul Song number, song title, and the author’s/singer’s name and a link to listen to the song.

Each blog entry will focus on a portion, or all, of the lyrics of a specific Soul Song. I will share my thoughts, memories, views, and reflections. Then I will receive and share Spirit’s reflections and message for me and the readers.

At the end of each blog post, I may share suggestions for any other songs that are connected or have a similar message.

Over time, I may tryout different styles and formats to determine which has the appearance and the energy I am looking for in this blog.
